Green arrived at Ferrari from two directions in the 1960s. Pininfarina’s palette brought Verde Pino and Verde Medio to the road cars, alongside a run of shades named for racehorses, Seabird among them. On track, British privateer David Piper raced his Ferraris in his own green, and the color has been part of the marque’s racing story since.
