Ferrari Classiche Certification in Fort Lauderdale

What Is Ferrari Classiche Certification?

Since the first Ferrari left Maranello in 1947, the brand has built its name on craftsmanship meant to last. In 2006, Ferrari formalized that into the Classiche program — a factory system verifying that historic Ferraris remain true to their original build.

As one of select dealerships operating an authorized Officine Classiche workshop, Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale guides owners through the full certification process.

Why It Matters

Over decades, repairs and restorations can quietly drift a car from its original factory configuration. Classiche certification settles the question — confirming a vehicle matches its original spec, or formally recording any approved changes.

How It Benefits Owners

Certification strengthens documented authenticity, supports long-term value, and confirms alignment with original factory spec — the kind of confidence that matters most at resale. It can also open access to Ferrari heritage events reserved for certified vehicles.

The Certification Process

  1. Preliminary Inspection — at our authorized facility.
  2. Factory Verification — records and history reviewed in Maranello.
  3. Red Book Certification — approved vehicles receive their official Ferrari Red Book.
  4. Restoration Guidance — factory-correct support, if needed.

Who Is Eligible

Ferrari road cars over 20 years old, plus select limited-series models, competition cars, and certain Formula One or sport prototypes regardless of age — subject to passing official factory verification.

Certification Requirements

  • Fully functional and mechanically sound
  • Original Ferrari components, or approved factory-correct replacements
  • Passes a comprehensive Classiche inspection
  • Meets age eligibility (20+ years) or qualifies as limited-series/competition

Owners of newer models can instead explore our Ferrari Premium program.

What Happens During Inspection

Specialists authenticate the chassis, engine and drivetrain, gearbox, suspension/brakes/wheels, bodywork, and interior — each evaluated against Ferrari’s archival production records.

Preserving Ferrari Heritage

Classiche certification is formal recognition that a vehicle still reflects Maranello’s original engineering intent. Owners pursuing certification — or simply preserving a historic Ferrari — can also rely on our vintage Ferrari service for ongoing care.

“For vehicles built to endure generations, documentation matters as much as engineering.”
