A Milestone in Ferrari Heritage

The 35th Palm Beach Cavallino Classic concluded at The Boca Raton, marking a milestone for the world’s most recognized event dedicated exclusively to Ferrari.

This anniversary edition celebrated “35 Years of Love for Ferrari,” honoring the event’s commitment to preservation, authenticity, and heritage.

Over Presidents’ Day weekend, more than 300 Ferraris were formally presented, with 360+ automobiles participating across three days of programming—from early race cars to road icons and modern limited-production models.

Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale was honored to attend and support this global gathering of Ferrari heritage.

The Concorso d’Eleganza: Preservation as Principle

The Concorso d’Eleganza remains the defining moment of the Cavallino Classic. Vehicles were evaluated on:

  • Restoration accuracy

  • Provenance

  • Originality

  • Historical significance

These standards reflect the principles of long-term Ferrari stewardship: documentation, factory alignment, and disciplined preservation.

More than 80 Platinum Awards were presented across Ferrari families and eras, recognizing excellence in mechanical integrity and authenticity.

A Historic Weekend in Palm Beach

Beyond the concours lawn, the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic featured signature experiences that connected owners and collectors with Ferrari heritage throughout the weekend.

Weekend highlights included:

  • Tour d’Eleganza — a scenic South Florida driving tour before returning to the concours grounds.
  • Cavallino Night — a cocktail reception, gala dinner, and charity auction celebrating Ferrari’s cultural and engineering legacy.
  • Classic & Sports Sunday at Mar-a-Lago Club — a continuation of the celebration in an exclusive Palm Beach setting.

The 2026 edition also introduced the Cavallino Auction presented by RM Sotheby’s, offering historically significant Ferrari models in a boutique sale curated for the Cavallino community.

Best of Show 2026

  • Best of Show – Gran Turismo: 1956 Ferrari 410 Superamerica
  • Best of Show – Competizione: 1948 Ferrari 166 MM Berlinetta

Additional honors recognized significant models across Ferrari’s heritage, including the 250 GTO, Enzo, F40, Monza SP2, and early competition Ferraris that shaped the brand’s early racing success.

Legacy Class & Historical Continuity

The 35th anniversary introduced the Legacy Class, a curated group of prior Best of Show winners that created a visual timeline of Cavallino history. It reinforced a central message: Ferrari heritage is sustained through preservation, not nostalgia.

Friday’s regional premiere of the Ferrari 849 Testarossa connected early U.S. competition history with Ferrari’s modern engineering progress.

That link between heritage and innovation continues today. Explore current availability by browsing our Ferraris for sale.

The Cavallino Auction

The debut Cavallino Auction presented by RM Sotheby’s further underscored the event’s global stature. A LaFerrari achieved a final price of $5,230,000, reflecting continued international demand for historically significant Ferrari models.

A Global Gathering

Collectors, enthusiasts, partners, and media from around the world reaffirmed the Cavallino Classic’s status as the leading international gathering dedicated exclusively to Ferrari.

As Luigi Orlandini, Chairman and CEO of Cavallino Inc., noted:

“Thirty-five years ago, Cavallino was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to honor Ferrari not just as an automobile, but as an expression of art, engineering, and human emotion.”

That guiding philosophy remains evident across every concours field and ownership journey.

Concours-level recognition begins long before the lawn. It begins with calibrated diagnostics, accurate records, and respect for original factory specifications.

As Ferrari continues to evolve, so does the global community committed to protecting its heritage.

Ferrari heritage is not only preserved through events like the Cavallino Classic—it continues through the stewardship of owners and communities who keep these machines alive on the road.
