This evolution of the Ferrari Portofino features an array of new technical and design features. New for the Portofino M is an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a five-position Manettino. This is a first for a Ferrari GT convertible.

The Ferrari Portofino M’s engine belongs to the family of V8 turbo engines that won “International Engine of the Year” four times in a row. The 3.9L engine has upgraded to reach 612 horsepower from the Portofino’s original 592 horsepower. In addition, the new Portofino M can go 0-62 mph in 3.45 seconds.

The designers broke up the dash into different levels so they could organize the in-car devices for a rational effect while also defining a signature full-width architecture. The 10.25-inch touchscreen is housed in the center section of the multi-level dashboard.
The Ferrari Portofino M’s seats are the product of a special research project. Moreso, the seats are made of an innovative magnesium structure. Different density padding and an ultra-compact seatback profile provide ample space for rear occupants. The Ferrari Portofino M also has available three-level ventilation for the sear and backrest. There is even a neck warmer for use in the winter months. Interestingly, the system constantly adapts the speed of the warm airflow from the headrest to ensure it is proportional to the car’s speed, outside temperature, and the use of the retractable top.
