Ferrari’s Endurance Legacy in Motion

The 1000 Miglia Experience Florida brought the spirit of Italy’s legendary Mille Miglia—meaning “one thousand miles”—to American roads, blending competition heritage with a curated three-day rally across Florida.

Inspired by the original endurance race held from 1927 to 1957, the event honored long-distance discipline, mechanical reliability, and historic authenticity.

Held February 21–23, 2026, the route spanned the Gulf Coast, Central Florida, and South Florida. Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale was proud to support this celebration of automotive excellence.

To see how that legacy lives on today, explore our Ferrari models.

The Structure of the Rally: Discipline by Design

Every participating vehicle fields a two-person crew:

  • Driver – responsible for operating the vehicle and complying with official Race Regulations and U.S. traffic laws
  • Navigator – responsible for the Road Book, route guidance, hazard awareness, and regularity test coordination

A pre-event training session is offered to familiarize participants with navigation and driving techniques — particularly valuable for first-time regularity rally competitors.

Unlike static concours events, this format emphasizes coordination, preparation, and mechanical dependability.

Participation Requirements

Participation reflects the international stature of the event. Requirements include:

  • Valid International Driving Permit (IDP) for non-U.S. participants
  • Valid American driver’s license for U.S. participants
  • Signed liability disclaimer
  • 1000 Miglia Era vehicles registered in the official 1000 Miglia Registry
  • Valid Carnet de Passage (CPD) for vehicles entering the United States

While limited technical support is available during the rally, participants are encouraged to possess foundational mechanical familiarity — reinforcing the event’s endurance character.

The 2026 Route: From Naples to Miami

Day 1 – Naples to Tampa

  • Official start: The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón
  • Stop: Venice Centennial Park
  • Finish: Innisbrook Salamander Golf Resort

Day 2 – Tampa to West Palm Beach

  • Departure: Innisbrook Golf Resort
  • Lakeland checkpoint
  • Exclusive access to Sebring International Raceway
  • Finish: Hilton West Palm Beach

Sebring’s inclusion provided rare track access at one of America’s most storied endurance circuits — reinforcing the rally’s authentic motorsport connection.

Day 3 – West Palm Beach to Miami

  • Southbound route
  • Closing lunch and award ceremony at The Biltmore Hotel

The rally concluded with formal prize recognition across multiple classifications.

A South Florida Stop: Touring Our New Boca Service Center

As part of the rally’s South Florida leg, participating crews stopped at our newly opened Ferrari of Boca Raton service facility.

Drivers and navigators were welcomed with coffee and pastries before continuing the route—a reflection of Ferrari’s balance between performance and hospitality.

Guests toured the service center and experienced the technical environment behind Ferrari ownership, from factory-authorized diagnostics to preservation-focused service.

Endurance as Ownership Philosophy

The original Mille Miglia demanded more than speed. It demanded:

  • Reliability
  • Mechanical integrity
  • Preparation
  • Team coordination

The Florida experience reflects those same ideals.

Ferraris are engineered to perform — but sustained performance depends on disciplined service, documentation continuity, and factory-aligned diagnostics.

Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale: Preparing for the Drive

Participation in heritage driving events begins long before the rally.

At Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, preparation includes:

  • Pre-rally technical inspections
  • Fluid and system diagnostics
  • Brake and tire evaluation
  • Service documentation review

Endurance is preserved through precision.

As Florida continues to host internationally recognized automotive gatherings, events like the 1000 Miglia Experience Florida reinforce the inseparable relationship between performance and preservation.

Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale remains committed to supporting that tradition — on the road and beyond it.
